The second annual Greek Unconference is coming up this Friday, April 23, to be held at Seminar Hakibbutzim. Last year, the conference brought together a variety of green and cleantech enthusiasts, ranging for hobbyists to professionals and entrepreneurs. CICC Cleantech Delegation to California
The California Israel Chamber of Commerce (CICC) Cleantech Initiative announced it is seeking 15 Israeli clean technology “cleantech” companies to participate in a delegation to meet with the leading industry, investment firms and utility giants April 26-28, 2010 in California.
Participants will have the opportunity to present their company to and meet privately with leading investors, corporate partners, policymakers, as well as scientific and academic experts as well as tours of California cleantech companies and facilities. About BIRD
BIRD Foundation, the Binational Industrial Research and Development Foundation, is a US-Israel effort to fund bi-national R&D projects on an ongoing basis. The organization funds about 20 projects a year – 800 since inception.
Recently, BIRD announced the BIRD Energy initiative, which specifically focuses on funding US-Israel R&D projects in renewable energy. It is backed by the US Department of Energy (DOE), the Israeli Ministry of National Infrastructures and the BIRD Foundation. Projects are funded up to $1 million.
