Two Battery/EV Lectures at TAU

In early May, the Tel Aviv University will be hosting Professor Elton J. Cairns for two lectures specific to Batteries and Electric Vehicles. Professor Cairns is a visiting professor from the University of California Berkeley, where his research interests are electrochemistry and electrocatalysis.
Lecture 1: Batteries for Electric and Hybrid Vehicles: What does it take?
The lecture will be held on Monday, 3 May 2010, at 12:00 in Edzia & Tanesz Dach Auditorium (5), Ornstein Chemistry Building, Tel-Aviv University, Ramat-Aviv
Lecture 2: X-Ray Absorption Spectroscopy: A useful tool for Li-Ion Battery Research
The lecture will be held on Wednesday, 5 May 2010, at 16:00 in Room No. 315, Multidisciplinary Research Building, Tel-Aviv University, Ramat-Aviv.
